He is survived by: his mother Barbara Bassett; his sons, Craig Bassett (Alex) of Athol and Peter Bassett (Carly) of Bernardston; his grandchildren, Madison and Dean Bassett; and his siblings, Jim, Andy, Danny, Jesse, Annmarie, Jennifer and Catherine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
