He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Galipault. He is survived by: his children, Mike (Pam Mathieu) of South Deerfield, Marilyn (George Newman) of Easthampton, Terri Mathieu of Turners Falls and Nancy Potwine of Tampa, Florida.; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Mathieu, Grace, Max Plumley, Braiden Dion, Harper Mathieu, Louis Paquette V and Alondra Paquette.
