He is survived by: his son Alan Smith (Jan Piccarini); his grandchildren, Vanessa Smith, Alan Smith Jr. and Danielle Piccarini; his daughter Patricia Smith; his grandchildren, Ronald Nichols, Tia Teschke, Bri Russell and Angel Heon; his child Thomas Smith (Meredith); his grandchildren, Crissa Smith, Andrew Smith, Nick Fields and Zachery Fields; his daughter Kimberly Hiersche (Mark Hiersche); his grandchildren, Michael Hiersche (late Mark Hiersche Jr.), Kelly Hiersche and Morgan Hiersche; his stepchildren, Hannibal (late Patricia), George Tack, Roy, Tack, Jason Boire and Casey Boire; his adoptive children, Aidan and Casey; and his siblings, Steven Smith and Ellen Thurston (Beverly Edwards). He is also survived by 10 Step grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
