It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald A. Thayer of Greenfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert B. Thayer and Martha Thayer (Vollinger); and his sisters, Lynda J. Strahan of Turners Falls and Donna M. Howes of Derby Line, Vermont. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
