It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christene M. Libbares of Greenfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Saledas and Asimoúla Saledas (Alice); her husband Leo G. Libbares; and her cousin John Saledas. She is survived by: her children, George Libbares, Lisa Dale (Stephen Dale) and Georgia Libbares (Scott Ashworth); her grandson Paul Dale; and her cousins, Pauline Saledas, Arline Alto, George Veres, Maria Nocerino and Julie Galvin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kostanski Funeral Home (220 Federal St, Greenfield, MA 01301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
