He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Blanchard and Sylvia Blanchard (Pickett); his son Todd Blanchard; and his siblings, Muriel, Valerie, Roberta, Russell and Wayne.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Canon; his children, Charlene Couture (Chris) of Gill, Michael W. Blanchard (Heather) of Turners Falls, Allan W. Blanchard Jr. (Donna) of Bernardston and Norman Blanchard (Elfie); his daughter-in-law Ami Rudzki of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Kevin Blanchard, Corey, Nicole Couture, Kelli, Owen, Noah, Patrick, Jake, Jessika and Ryan Blanchard; and his great grandchildren, Payton and Abigail Blanchard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
