It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Lapeire Veit (Great Barrington, Massachusetts), born in Jamaica, New York, who passed away on March 10, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Franklyn Lapeire and Ruth Lapeire (Hagenaugh); her husband Robert Veit; her daughters, Catherine Devaney (Thomas) of Bow, NH and Suzanne Watson (David) of Scarborough, ME; her grandchildren, Ian, Griffin, Collin and Grace; and her brother John Lapeire. She was also cherished by her husband of 57 years and her children and grandchildren.
