She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Murphy and Hazel Knight Murphy; her son Timothy Briggs; her husband Raymond Briggs, Jr.; and her siblings, Virginia Murphy, Caroline Sbraccia, Charlotte Vivaldo and Harry Murphy.
She is survived by: her sister Hazel Murphy Mack; her children, William J. Briggs (Deborah), James A. Briggs (Nancy), Frank A. Briggs (Brenda), Cheryl L. Ovitt (Garry), Pat A. Bradway and Gina Briggs Deane (John); her daughter-in-law Laurie Briggs; and her grandchildren, William, Adam, Garry, Dawn, Chelsea, Christopher, Raymond, Dustin, James, Johnny, Ashley, Steven and Robert. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
