He was predeceased by: his siblings, Paul Heffernan and Jane Heavey. He is survived by: his wife Esther; his children, John (Dawn Heffernan), Colleen (Mark Robinson) and Tim; his grandchildren, Aidan Heffernan, Gain Robinson (Anna Been, Sarah) and Paul Heffernan; and his siblings, Sheila Dankese, Brenda Popeo and Gerald Heffernan. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
