With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francene Marie Provost of Great Barrington, Massachusetts, born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 25, 2024 at the age of 60. As Francene Marie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Francene Marie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Francene Marie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her mother Louise DeFoe Johnson; and her siblings, Maggie Candee and Norman Papineau. She is survived by: her siblings, Gerald Papineau (Veronica), June Vincent, Susan Papineau Moody (Gerry), Debra Blackwell and Bertha Connelley. She is also survived by son, daughter and two grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Elmwood Cemetery (90 Stockbridge Rd, Great Barrington, MA 01230).
