She was predeceased by: her parent Florence Strevell (McCabe). She is survived by: her parent Frank Strevell; her grandchildren, Nicole Carty of Lee, Jared Carty of Raleigh and Her; her daughter Joy Ann Carty of Lee; her niece Sandra O'Connor (Robert) of Melbourne; and her nephew Richard Morales (Jan).

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Florence's memory may be made out to the Claire Teague Senior Center in care of the funeral home.
