He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Millie Todd Conaway; and his sisters, Christine and Betty Kelley. He is survived by: his wife Pearlie; his children, Sharon Stewart (Gregory), Gerald Conaway, Daryl and Nathan Wilson; his siblings, Mellie Harrison, Katherine Kelley, Juanita Williams (Glenn), Darlina Dennard (George), Elnita Walker, Gwen Thomas (Benjamin), John Conaway, Jr. (Mattie Conaway), Charles Conaway (Virginia) and Edward Conaway; his grandchildren, Lakisha, Terrance Stewart, Deseraye, Damontti, Cassius and Lorenzo Conaway; and his great grandchild Jaxton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
