She was predeceased by: her siblings, Shirley Baerwald and Arthur Arnoff. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan P. Herman (Geoffrey) of Mount Vernon, Lucy Prashker (Thomas Curtin) of Alford and Marti P. Murray of East Hampton; her grandchildren, Christopher Park Herman of Leavittown, William Isaac Herman of Oceanside, Peter Ellis Herman of Wayne, Jessica Lillian Murray of Nashville, Emily Murray of San Francisco and Alice Prashker Curtin of Montreal; and her great grandchildren, Lillian Herman, Parker Herman, Samuel Herman, Jane Herman and Willa Constance Bryan.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made C/O Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home 426 Main St. Great Barrington, MA 01230 to Planned Parenthood or any other organization committed to protecting civil rights or supporting young musicians, all causes that Betty held dear throughout her life.
