He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Africano; his brothers, Mark and Robert Africano; and his brother-in-law Mitchell Frank. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Africano (Alekson) of Windsor Locks; his siblings, Elaine Frank of Windsor Locks and Richard Africano (Mary Ann) of Glenmont, NY; and his nieces and nephews, Daniel, Rachel Frank, Katie and Peter Africano.
