It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles L. Shaw (Granville, Massachusetts), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 22, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Shaw (Blakesley); and his children, Tammy L. Larsen and Lafayette T. Shaw. He is survived by: his son Jason Charles Shaw of Torrington, CT; his grandchildren, Joshua Larsen of West Suffield, CT and Joseph Nitch of Southwick; his great grandchildren, Jakob, Jeremiah and Joseph Larsen of West Suffield, CT; his siblings, James H. Shaw (Sue) of Sand Springs, OK, Irene H. Shaw (Richard Wilber) of Venice, FL and Eileen J. Boehm (Keith) of Venice, FL; his significant other Karen Robinson of Granville; and his son Joseph Pothier of Granville.
In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting a tree be planted in his memory or contributions made in his memory to Newenglandforestry.org.
