He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Abar and Lucy Abar (Stone); and his brother Hank Abar. He is survived by: his wife Alice Abar (Chartier); his sons, Alan Abar (Denise) of Washburn, ME and Kevin Abar (Shawn) of Woodbridge, VA.; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jamie, Jennifer, Jackie, Benjamin and Joshua; and his great grandchildren, Colt, Logan, Rowan, Gwendolyn, Elena, Dahlia, Emily and Olivia.
