He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Plante and Leona Plante (Choiniere); and his brothers, Leo, Paul and Joseph Plante.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Plante (Sullivan); his children, Mark Plante (Diane), David Plante and Lisa Liquori (Al); his sister Lorraine Lambert; and his grandchildren, Brian Plante, Elizabeth Lubas and Joseph Liquori. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
