She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald E. Purcell and Johanna Purcell (McKenna); her wife Frances D. "Fran" Fortier (Menard); her granddaughter Katherine E. "Katie" Fortier; and her siblings, Edward, John, Donald Purcell, Margaret Bernier, Dorothy Sullivan and Helen Finn.
She is survived by: her children, William F. Fortier (Marie) of Crestview, FL, Jean E. Walker (David) of Chicopee, Robert L. Fortier of Granby and John J. Fortier of Lancaster, CA; her daughter-in-law Judith Fortier of South Hadley; and her sisters-in-law, Roseanna Ford, Rita Fabricius and Irene Gemme. She is also survived by grandchildren, 30 cherished great-grandchildren and six cherished great-great grandchildren.
