He is survived by: his parents, Arthur Chartier and Charlotte Chartier (Phinney); his wife Christine (Szlachta); his stepson Eddie Beattie; his grandchildren, Chrystal Giblo, Alex Giblo, Brett Tyler Hickey, Sarah Christine Hickey, Eddie Beattie Jr, Megan Allyn Leone, Brooke Lynn Podsiadlo, Luke Anthony Cote, Wayno Joseph Podsiadlo, Travis William Chartier, Tyler Joseph Chartier, James Daniel Cote and Lena Christine Chartier; his great grandchildren, Meadow Leon, Felix Leon and Luna Giblo; his siblings, Judy Mercier and Michael Lipski; and his friends, Barry, Adam Gray and Greg Orlen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Shriner's Hospital.
