He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry E. Sowa and Irene R. Sowa (Salois). He is survived by: his wife Marlene J. Sowa (Cooke); his children, Lynn R. Mercier (Philip) of Belchertown and Mark T. Sowa of Inglis, FL; his grandchildren, Amanda Ouimette, Christopher Sowa, Shane Sowa and Andrew Polmetiere; and his sister Joyce Angers (Norman) of Belchertown. He is also survived by his five great-grandchildren.
