He was predeceased by: his father John Lastowski, Sr.; his wife Melanie Lastowski (Gagne); and his sister Tina Elia. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Gagne (Jennifer), Sonya Daviau (Rich) and Crystal VanBuren (Jay); his stepchildren, Nathan Layton and Maria Pena; his siblings, Kathy Lacasse, Charles Lastowski and Jennifer Nylund; and his stepsiblings, Tawnya Lastowksi and Derek Tyburski. He is also survived by friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Mathew J. Vieu Memorial Fund, Inc..
