She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvaro Fernandes and Gertrudes Fernandes; her husband Antonio Joao; and her siblings, Antonio, Joao, Amandio, Bento Fernandes and Ana Roxo.
She is survived by: her children, Paulo Joao (Ana Maria) and Suzana Magalhaes (Luis); her grandchildren, Stephanie Sousa (Frank), Amanda and Alexander Joao; her great grandchildren, Sophia and Conor; and her brother Jose Fernandes. She is also survived by godchildren, nieces and nephews.
