He was predeceased by: his father Frederick LaFortune, Jr.; and his brother Dennis LaFortune. He is survived by: his mother Barbara LaFortune; his wife Nora LaFortune (Kennedy); his daughter Helen Duda; his son-in-law Timothy Duda; his granddaughter Abigail Willow Duda; his son Patrick LaFortune; his great grandchild Jayden Nora LaFortune; and his siblings, John LaFortune, Frederick LaFortune (Lisa), Eric LaFortune (Christine), Michelle Kane (William) and Maureen Owsiak.
The family has asked that donations be made to the Dakin Humane Society 171 Union St. Springfield, MA 01105.
