Cecile (Roy) Lajoie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecile (Roy) Lajoie of Granby, Massachusetts, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 14, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Roy and Alphonsine Roy; her siblings, Maurice "Moo" Roy, Ronald "Joe" Roy (Luisa), Jeanine Woolsey (Robert), Helen Balthazard and Aline Fontaine (Gerald "Jim"); and her sisters-in-law, Rita Dugre (George), Cecile Lindsay (Janvier) and Theresa Lajoie.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph M. Lajoie; her children, Michael "Mike" Lajoie (Karen) of Chicopee, Teresa "Terry" Lajoie of Granby and James "Jim" Lajoie (Missy) of South Hadley; her grandchildren, Amy Lajoie, Adam Lajoie (Courtney Davis), Alyssa Lajoie (Charlie Edgette), Joseph Lajoie (Jineane), Corey Lajoie (Lydia), Heather Bailly (Jon), Katelynn Lajoie, Matthew Lajoie and Nicholas Lajoie; and her great grandchildren, Morgan Lajoie, Ryder Lajoie, Kylie Lajoie, Lorna Lajoie, Collin Lajoie, Madison Bailly and Emma Bailly.
Please note that masks are required, social distancing must be observed and Church capacity if limited due to state regulations. Her burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 256 State Street, Granby, MA 01033.
