Velma Donahue Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Donahue of Grafton, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Elaine Petkauskos (Andrade), Arthur Andrade, Barbra Guerard (Andrade) and Joseph B. Andrade, Jr.; and her parents, Joseph B. Andrade, Sr. and Lena Andrade (Mello).
She is survived by: her children, Paul F. Donahue Jr. (Caigui Guo Donahue) of Barre, MA, Laura Everitt of Barre, MA, Scott Donahue (Kelly) of Whitinsville, MA and Derek Donahue (Nadine) of Dudley, MA.; and her sisters, Inez "Enie" Clemmer of Northborough, MA, Gypsy McGrath of Berlin, MA and Jean Powell (Paul Powell) of Worcester, MA. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home (50 Central St, Hudson, MA 01749). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Michael Parish (21 Manning St, Hudson, MA 01749). A burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Michaels Cemetery (278 Cox St, Hudson, MA 01749). A procession will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the St Michael Cemetery (278 Cox St, Hudson, MA 01749).
