He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Gauvin and Jeanette Gauvin; his siblings, Kenneth Gauvin and Betty Gauvin; and his aunt Ida Ludwig.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille (Arguin); and his sons, Robert (Brenda), Steven (Marilyn), James (Joanne), Thomas (Judy) and John (Linda). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
