With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard S. McMahon of Grafton, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen McMahon (Hayes) and John F. McMahon; and his brothers, John F. McMahon Jr., Michael J. McMahon and Christopher T. McMahon.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen "Katie" McMahon (Matthew Marcel) and Tijean Pluverge (Lily Lima); his grandson Tijean Mac Pluverge; his brother James "Jimmy" McMahon; and his nephew Christopher McMahon (Erin McMahon). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Callahan Fay Caswell Funeral Home (61 Myrtle St, Worcester, MA 01608). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint John's Catholic Church (44 Temple St, Worcester, MA 01604).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mac's name to his favorite team, the Doherty High School football program, at 299 Highland Street Worcester, MA 01602 attention to the football team.
