She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Robidou (Remillard) and Joseph Robidou; her grandson Corbin Brooks; and her siblings, Joseph Robidou and Evelyn Lhamon.
She is survived by: her husband Bertrand "Bert" Poirier; her children, Diane M. Brooks (Randy), David J. Poirier (Beverly), Christine A. Goguen (Jerry), Stephen P. Poirier (Diane), Janet L. MacRae, Carmen J. Rockwood and Patricia A. Palmer (Steven); and her sister Blanche Richard. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
