He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Coz and Mary Coz of Grafton, MA.. He is survived by: his close friend Elizabeth "Betsy" Fitzpatrick; his siblings, Patricia Coz, John Coz of Hudson, MA, Stephen Coz (Valerie), Thomas Coz (Linda) of Upton, Mary Coz of Dudley and Carolyn Coz of Webster; and also Nathaniel "Nate" Coz of Worcester. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

For many years he rode the Pan Mass Challenge and the YMCA Cycle-a-Thon, raising tens of thousands of dollars for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the Livestrong Foundation.
