He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Elie and Ida Elie (Spooner); his siblings, Marcel Elie, Emile Elie, Germaine Belanger and Cecile Lussier; and his daughter-in-law Virginia Elie (Laskowski).
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Elie (Vandal); his children, Kevin Elie of Thompson, CT, Joyce Brousseau (Mark) of Oakham and Janet Smith of Vero Beach, FL; and his sister Aline Dubois of Cumberland, RI. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 31 nieces and nephews; many relatives in Canada; and the numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James Memorial Fund.
