Alice Syrjala Obituary

We bid farewell to Alice Syrjala of Grafton, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 6, 2025 at the age of 80. Alice touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Fitzgerald and Josephine "Joanie" Fitzgerald (O'Connor); and her sons, Brian Syrjala of Natick, MA and Michael Syrjala of Worcester, MA.. She is survived by: her husband Richard Syrjala of Grafton, MA.; her children, William Syrjala and Joanne "Jodi" Congdon (Syrjala); her son-in-law Chalmers Congdon; her grandchildren, Samuel Congdon and Katherine Congdon; her daughter-in-law Michelle Syrjala; and her granddaughters, Madeline and Allison Syrjala. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the St Jude's Children Research Hospital in Alice's memory.
