It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Susan Weiner of Gloucester, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 80, on December 6, 2024. As Susan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Susan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Shaw and William "Bucky" Shaw. She is survived by: her husband Barry Weiner; her children, Amy of Gloucester and Matthew (Colleen) of Newton; and her granddaughters, Josie, Phoebe and Zoe. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bass Rocks Golf Club (34 Beach Rd, Gloucester, MA 01930).
