Stevphen Skrobacz Obituary
Stevphen Skroback peacefully joined his brothers Mark "Teenie" Skrobacz and Paul R. Skrobacz in our lord's care on August 7, 2022, at the age of 38 years. Survived by his father Mark Skrobacz, mother Kathleen Spanks, step mother Anna Skrobacz, wife Rachel Blazejewski and children Scarlet and Stevie Rae Skrobacz.
In his military experience Stephen Scrobacz served as an Infantryman in the Army from 2005 – 2008. He deployed to Iraq for 15 months between 2006 and 2007, with the 25th Infantry, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment "Wolfhounds," Bravo Company "Bastards", 3rd Platoon. He was known by his brothers in arms for being fearless, selfless, always sticking his neck out for others, never being afraid to speak his mind. He was USDA Approved, and constantly making everyone laugh and cheer for him. He was a man among men.
Outside of the military, Stevphen was a gifted tradesman who was a lead foreman. He excelled in custom residential home remodels.
Stevphen had a "ruff "exterior and a heart of gold and anyone that knew him will always remember his cackling laughter and turbo charged energy. Stevphen was a simple man, and his greatest joys were his family, friends, laughter, music and his dog Zuul.
Stevphens loyalty, wit, charm, strength and love will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have known him.
Visiting hours will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St. Gloucester, MA on Friday August 12, from 4-7 pm. Family and friends are cordially invited. Following the hours, you are invited for drinks from 7:30 pm on, at Prattys, at 10 Parker Street.
His mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 13 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Voyage Church at 142 Prospect St. Gloucester. Burial will be held privately.
