Santina Aloi Obituary
Santina Aloi (Scuderi), of Gloucester, MA, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at Seacoast Nursing Home. Santina was born in Terme Vigliatore, Sicily and was the daughter of the late Antonino and Giuseppa Scuderi (Lamassa).
She immigrated to the US with her husband Santo, in 1954, and set up home in Gloucester, MA. She had three children who she adored. Her greatest joy was caring for others and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved to cook, bake, and enjoyed crocheting beautiful blankets for her family that they will treasure for generations to come.
Santina is survived by her children, Maria Wilson (Joel Jr.), Josephine LoGrasso (Salvatore), Anthony Aloi (Eileen), her grandchildren, Angela Nardone (Joe), Vito LoGrasso (Molly), Santo LoGrasso, Joel Wilson III, and James, Sean and Katelin Aloi, and her great grandchildren, Juliana, and Marissa Nardone. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Giuseppe Scuderi (Antoinette), her sister, Maria Scuderi Buccolo, and many brothers- in- law, sisters- in- law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Santo Aloi, and her brothers, Salvatore and Concetto Scuderi.
Santina's visiting hours will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester, on Tuesday, February 14, from 5 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Ann's Church, Holy Family Parish, 70 Pleasant St., Gloucester, on Wednesday, February 15, at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester.
