He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Nicastro and Mary Nicastro (Parisi); and his brothers, Joseph and James. He is survived by: his children, Michael Nicastro (Shelly), Lisa Allen, James Nicastro (Susan) and Kathleen Brown (Jeff); his grandchildren, Emily Lafata (Anthony), Elise Landwher (Adam), James Sargent, Joshua Sargent (Sarah), Savannah Allen (Jon), Katie Sargent, Hayley Nelson, Adam Nicastro, Kristen Haughton (Skip), Daniel Brown and Alyssa Brown; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Erik, Caleb, Malcolm and Nathan; his sister Grace McKay (Bud); his sister-in-law Gloria Nicastro; and his former wife Maureen Nicastro. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews, cousins.
