Rosemary Howarth Obituary

Not the best photo, but one of my most valued and important times in my life, when I was a little kid, this lady brought me to Red Sox's Games and taught me how to fill in a score book . Her mother called ahead and I got to go to the Locker Room and behind the Green Monster at Fenway Park, When I was in 5th and 6th Grade she was my substitute teacher, at Winslow School, when I was Sixteen , she brought me for my drivers exam, her coaching and distracting the Registry Official got me my license on the first try. She loaned me her Graduation Gift (1968 Mustang) to drive around on the weekends.

When she got a new car , she let me drive the car for weeks at a time, When I started playing High School Sports she bought me a subscription to sports illustrated every year on my birthday. Whenever I was on the football field or on the basketball court I could look up in the stands and see the little church mouse cheering me on. When I started dating Elizabeth 1980 she had to vet her to make sure she was good enough for me.

And when we got married she led Elizabeth and her father down the aisle smiling at me the whole way. She was definitely an old soul with a huge heart quiet and unassuming but full of joy. She would be found sitting in the corner but snapping more photos than Polaroid picture booth.

So last Saturday knowing the time was near, I drove down to Addison Gilbert Hospital sat in the room with her gave her a kiss on her cheek and thanked her for everything she had ever done in my life. I said the Lords Prayer and held her hand and told her I loved her and asked her to give her mom a hug from "Bucky" On Monday morning my Sister Rosemary passed to the celestial lodge above. She shall forever be in my prayers.
