He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlington Robert of Traverse City and Ruth Harting (Parsons) of Gloucester; and his wife Martha T. Harting (Lane). He is survived by: his sons, Bruce G. Harting and Charles A. Harting (Barbara Aldrich). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
