Patrick J. Tanso Obituary
Patrick John Tanso, 60, of Gloucester, was born on March 12, 1964, and passed away on October 1, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Patrick is survived by his partner Lisa Daly-Gargano, and their children Michael, Maria, and Matthew Gargano of Gloucester, his former wife Dyann Tanso, and their sons Nicholas and Alex Tanso, his sister Patricia Tanso, and life-long friends. He is predeceased by his father Patrick, mother Joan, and brother John Tanso.
Patrick grew up in Somerville and worked within the automotive industry for over 40 years. He loved music, playing the drums, movies, concerts, cooking, cards, fast cars, and traveling. He cherished spending his time with his family and friends laughing.
A dedicated family man, Patrick was a phenomenal father and protector of his family. His humor brightened up our days. He had a heart of gold, was a gentle soul, attempted to do right by all, and would give anyone in greater need the shirt off his back. He was old school, a stand-up man, and believed in loyalty.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Patrick on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 11:00a.m. at Our Lady of Good Voyage Church, 142 Prospect Street. Gloucester, MA. Burial will be private.
