Patricia A. Boucie Obituary
Patricia A. (Burke) Bouchie, 85, wife of the late Edward A. Bouchie, of Reading MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24th at Lowell General Hospital.
Born in Gloucester MA on May 2, 1939, daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Grimes) Burke.
Patricia was a graduate of Gloucester High School, class of 1958 and of the North Shore Children's Hospital in Salem MA. She then went on to work as a pediatric nurse in Crotchet Mountain, NH before returning to work at Children's Hospital for many years while also working as a nanny. Upon Edwards return from Vietnam, they were married in September 1969 then made their home in Reading, MA where they raised 3 children. Patricia enjoyed bingo, being involved with her kids' activities and later watching her grandchildren play sports. Her family is what made her happiest.
Patrica is survived by her sons, Thomas Bouchie and his wife Sheri of Wilmington along with Matthew Bouchie and his wife Jenny of Clearwater Fl; her only daughter, Denise Gendreau and her husband (favorite son-in-law), Mike of Pelham, NH where she lived for 17 years. Patricia had 7 grandchildren, Mikey, Kyle, Brian, Alex, Jason, Shae and Danny; her brother, Richard Burke and sister, Jean Danikas.
Patricia is predeceased by her brother, Robert Burke and sister, Dorothy Aspesi.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Ann's Church, Holy Family Parish on Monday, December 2, at 12noon. Relatives and friends are cordially invited.
A visitation will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester, MA prior to the Mass from 10:00 – 11:30 am. The burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester.
