Norma L. Clayton Obituary

Norma L. Clayton passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 4, 2022. Norma was born in Ipswich, MA on August 19, 1938.

She worked for many years at Lepages, where she was a packer. She then worked at Nutramax for several years, where she retired from. Norma had a green thumb and enjoyed planting flowers in the yard. She enjoyed sitting outside on the deck watching the birds and butterflies. During the pandemic she would sew masks for family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Delaney and her husband Mark of NH; a son, Jeffrey Clayton of Gloucester and a daughter Heidi Clayton-Tarbox and her husband James Tarbox, also of Gloucester. She had 3 grandchildren, grandson Kyle Clayton of Gloucester, 2 granddaughters, Ashley Delaney and Monica Delaney, both of NH.

Mrs. Clayton was preceded by her father Milton Critchett and mother Mary Edith Critchett.

A celebration of life is planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are by the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St. Gloucester.
