With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary J. Mitchell (Gloucester, Massachusetts), who passed away on July 24, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruffina Silva and Joseph Rocha; her spouse Francis (Buddy); her parents-in-law, Joseph and Carrie Mitchell; and her siblings, Sylvia Rocha Mitchell (Manual), Grace Rocha King (Herbert), Millie Rocha Ball (James), Alex (May Livingston Rocha), Joseph Rocha and Manny Rocha.
She is survived by: her sister Irene Lowe of Maine; her sister-in-law Judie Carter Rocha; her parents-in-law, Gus, Carolyn Foote and Catherin Mitchell; and her close friend Theresa O. Wonson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contribution can be made to Our Lady of Good Voyage Church, the Francis Chuck Mitchell Scholarship Fund, c/o Beeman Elementary School, or any other charity of one's choice.
