Lynne Sataline Bross Obituary

Lynne Sataline Bross, 90, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023, following a long illness.

Lynne grew up in Plainville, CT and was a graduate of Mary Immaculate Academy in New Britain, CT. She graduated from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in public relations.

Lynne loved the seashore and spent many summers in Rockport, MA before moving there to live year-round in 1996. She was a modest, although accomplished cook and was especially renowned for her apple pie. She was skilled at knitting and enjoyed making sweaters for her family. Lynne loved books and reading and was a regular patron at both the Plainville and Rockport public libraries. In addition to reading, Lynne was an avid baseball and football fan of the New York teams, especially the Giants.

Her friendly and open demeanor drew many people to her who appreciated her ability to listen to their problems and secrets. Most of all, Lynne loved her family and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible.

She is survived by her three children, Andrea Bross of Rockport, MA, Daniel Bross (and Peggy Dargan) of Fairbanks, AK, and Rachel Walsh (and Robert Walsh) of West Hartford, CT and two grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband August Bross and her parents, Irene (Mongillo) and Andrew Sataline.

In keeping with her wishes there will be no services.
