He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Flanagan and Shirley Flanagan (Emerson); his niece Michelle Favazza; his brother William Flanagan; and his stepmother Stella Flanagan (Herrick).
He is survived by: his daughters, Alanna Hendrickson (Jeff) of Gloucester and Alyssa-Jo Sousa (Aaron) of Gloucester; his siblings, Timothy Flanagan (Laura) of Maryland, Peter Flanagan (Annette) of Florida, Linda Favazza (Michael) of Methuen and Janine Crane (Jamie) of Methuen; and his grandchildren, Cecilia, Colton, Chloe, Lemi, Calvin and Orri. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
