It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John D. Carpenter of Gloucester, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 15, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin C. Carpenter and Mary Catherine Carpenter (Robicheau); and his siblings, Virginia Titus, Phyllis McLaughlin, Elizabeth Clancy, Richard, George and Benjamin Carpenter.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Randazza (Thomas) of Gloucester, John Carpenter Jr. (Christina) of Gloucester and David Carpenter of Gloucester; his grandchildren, Michael, Alexander, Joshua, Natasha, David Carpenter, Caleb, Juliana Gauthier, Ethan Gilliss and Ella Randazza; and his siblings, Barbara Guy, Sharon Thierault, Susan Doucette of Ipswich, Robert Carpenter, Alfred Carpenter of Lynn and Donald Carpenter of Gloucester. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
