Gail M. Gillette Obituary

Gail M. (Beck) Gillette, 89, of Gloucester, wife of Robert A. Gillette passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Seacoast Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Gloucester, MA on July 12, 1935, daughter of the late Albert J. and Myrtle (McLean) Beck.

Gail was a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1952. She later received her degree in Nursing. She worked for many years as an LPN at Addison Gilbert Hospital, a job she loved.

Gail enjoyed cross country skiing, line dancing, bingo, knitting, puzzles, and especially riding her treasured bicycle. She completed over 50 quilts for her family and friends, with her husband Robert (Bob) that will be forever cherished by all. Most of all, Gail enjoyed spending time with her husband and her family.

She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Gail is survived by her husband of 34 years, Robert A. Gillette; daughter, Kimalee Collins and her husband Jan; son, William Sweet and his wife Michelle; grandchildren, Nathan Collins and his wife Cristina, Hayley Moon and her husband Mark, Randy Sweet and Colin Sweet; great-grandchildren, Kaya Collins, Mason Moon and Madison Moon; sister, Paige Cilluffo; step-daughters, Cheryl Osgood, Patricia Burneson and Pamela Grabowski; her special angel, Almy Parsons and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her twin sister, Marilyn Carlson, sisters, Marion "Daisy" McPeck and Bertha Clancey; twin brothers, Kenneth Beck and Alan Beck, and Bruce Beck.

Her. Graveside Service will be held in Beechbrook Cemetery, 401 Essex Avenue, Gloucester on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
