Born in Medford, MA., he became an executive in marketing and sales in consumer products, including H. P. Hood. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Anne "Deanie", and their children: Daughter Pamela Mallon, her husband, Sandy, their sons Michael (wife Bailey, daughter Bridgette) all New Jersey, and AJ (fiancé Chelsea) New York, NY. Daughter Stephanie Stiles, (husband Eric, children Nicholas and Allison). Connecticut. Son.

Fred loved sports. His days as quarterback at Columbia College provided fodder for many a story, oft repeated, for his grandchildren. Fred loved family, never happier than when they gathered at the beach house in Gloucester. And he loved his friends and neighbors on Brier Neck and at Destino's.

Visiting hours will be on Monday, June 17, 2024, at the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St., Gloucester from 11-1p.m. followed by a Service at 1p.m.
