With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ellen Silveira of Gloucester, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ellen left this world on March 17, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene; her parents, John Fahy and Ellen Fahy (Raftery); her son Patrick; her siblings, Tadgh, William, Mary and Agnes; and her stepgrandson J. J. Nicastro.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Silveira (Beth Logan) of Cambridge, Jack Silveira of South Berwick, ME, Jill Silveira of Gloucester, Brian Silveira (Angelique) of Ft. Myers, FL and Eugene J. Silveira, Jr. (Tammy) of Gloucester; her grandchildren, Patrick, Evan, Emily, Ryan, Elizabeth and James; and her great grandchild Rosie. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Good Voyage Church (142 Prospect St, Gloucester, MA 01930).
