Donna M. Legendre Obituary

Donna M. (Garofalo) Legendre, 72 of Gloucester, wife of Barry T. Legendre passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Lynn, MA on April 8, 1950, daughter of James Garofalo and the late Virginia (D'Alessandro) Parisi.

Donna was a graduate of Gloucester High School, Class of 1967. She later attended Mansfield Beauty Academy, receiving her certificate in hairdressing.

She enjoyed cooking, baking and when she worked for Gloucester Engineering in the cafeteria, she loved to bake lots of cupcakes for all the holidays and loved to see the joy she put on everyone's faces.

Donna was a very simple person who enjoyed being home, watching tv and spending time with her grandchildren which meant the world to her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Donna is survived by her husband of 51 years, Barry Legendre; daughter, Melissa Legendre; grandchildren, Kyle, and Mia Draper; brother, Philip Parisi and his husband John Holland; sisters, Gina Wingerter and her husband Todd, Linda O'Hara and her husband Dan.

She was predeceased by her stepfather, Phil Parisi and brothers, James Garofalo and Michael Parisi.
