Donna M. Knowles Obituary

Donna M. Knowles, 63, of Gloucester, MA, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, MA.

Born in Gloucester on January 15, 1961, Donna was the cherished daughter of the late Robert H. and Margaret E. (McKay) Knowles.

Donna's life was defined by her boundless kindness and genuine care for others. Whether it was through her work at Gloucester Healthcare or Cape Ann Pediatricians, Donna touched countless lives with her warmth and compassion. Many will remember her welcoming presence at the front desk of Cape Ann Pediatricians, where she greeted everyone with a smile and always had stickers on hand for the little ones. Her ability to make others feel valued and cared for was a gift she shared generously with all.

Her kindness extended well beyond her professional life. Donna was a devoted mother who found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially her cherished outings with her daughter, Erica. Shopping trips to Marshall's and Home Goods were special times they spent together, full of laughter and love. Above all, her heart was most full when she was with her grandson, Elias, whom she adored as only a "Nana" could.

Donna's gentle spirit and caring heart will be missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing her.

She leaves behind her loving daughter, Erica Knowles; beloved grandson, Elias Curtis; brother, Darrell Robinson; niece, Stephanie Knowles; nephew, Robbie Knowles; grandnieces, Everly Garcia and Jolie Robinson-Turner; grandnephew, Mikey Robinson; and her lifelong best friend, Kimberley Parsons.

She was predeceased by her brother, Robert H. Knowles Jr.

In keeping with Donna's wishes, there will be no formal services. However, all are invited to join in a Celebration of Life at Stage Fort Park on September 15, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., where her legacy of love and kindness will be honored.
