Debra R. Burke-Mann Obituary

Debra R. Burke-Mann, of Gloucester, passed away on September 22, 2024, due to the unfortunate disease of ALS at the age of 62. She was the wife of the late Dr. Neil N. Mann. She was the daughter of the late Ralph G. and Ruth A. (Gill) Burke.

Debra aka Deb grew up in Gloucester and was a graduate of Gloucester High School the class of 1979, then went to study at Tuffs University graduating in 1992. She also volunteered at Meals-on-wheels providing warm meals to seniors in the North Shore. She spent most of her time walking Stacy Boulevard with her friends, she loved to swim and go to most of the beaches in Gloucester during the summer days. Deb enjoyed drawing & painting with her daughter & friend Lauren Doucette and traveling to Florida with family. She participated in daily town groups & meetings. She became a well-loved Sales associate at Marshalls, at Gloucester Crossing. She will be loved & missed by so many.

She is survived by her son, Dustin Joseph and wife Michele Joseph of Florida, Daughter, Leah J Mann who resides in Lynn, Mass. & Friends; Teresa Arnold, Judith Harold, Jackie Doyle, Kathy Cefalu, Brenda & Many others.

A graveside service on October 17, 2024, at 11:00am where she will be buried alongside of her parents in Oak Grove Cemetery, 183 Washington Street, Gloucester.
